Peran Pendampingan Sosial Program Keluarga Harapan Dalam Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Keluarga Penerima Manfaat Kecamatan Lebong Selatan

Abstract

One of the most important government programs in eradicating poverty level is the Family of Hope program. The Family of Hope program aims at giving social assistance to beneficiaries determined by the government. As the attempt to accelerate the eradication of poverty level, the government has implemented the Family of Hope program since 2007.  This social security program is also known in the international world as the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT), and such program has proven successful in many countries, especially in abolishing extreme poverty level. The beneficiaries of the Family of Hope program were generated from the data in the Ministry of Social Affairs, known as the Integrated Data for Social Prosperity, there are in to total of 33.588 people in Lebong regency, including those who have received social assistance about 4.682 people. In the Lebong district alone, there are 6.025 people eligible for this social assistance, while those who have received the assistance are 716 people scattering around 6 villages, and 3 sub-districts in South Lebong district.
